For example, I’ve seen kids struggle to master a new technique in Muay Thai boxing, only to finally get it after weeks of practice. That moment of success teaches them the value of persistence and shows them they’re capable of overcoming challenges.

Discipline is another invaluable lesson that sports teach. Training sessions, team practices, and competitions require young people to:
